Police Department:
Police Records Clerk-Grade 23
Part time. Applicant will perform specialized functions in the Town’s police computer records management system. Processes, arranges, indexes, files manual and computer police records according to established routine and sequence, such records to include operation reports, offense reports, accident reports, property reports, arrest sheets, parking citations, criminal and traffic inquiries, investigation documents, fingerprint cards and others as required. Minimum age for this position is 20 years old. This position is NOT a law enforcement position. BLET training not required, but is preferred, MUST BE ABLE to pass a comprehensive background check as well as a pre-employment drug test. $11.85 per hour, not to exceed 20 hours a week. Public Works:
Public Works Director-Grade 33

Candidate will perform difficult professional and administrative work supervising the operation of the Town's Public Works Department which includes water, wastewater, and storm water systems. He/she will plan, organize and direct the work of all public utilities department functions to include plant operations, process control, laboratory analysis, distribution and collection system operations and maintenance and preventive maintenance and repair. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Town Manager, salary to be $55,000.00 per year depending upon qualifications. Public Works Laborer-Grade 20
Receives general supervision from the Public Works Director. Works directly under Public Works Supervisor. Position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority. Works with assigned crew performing manual, strenuous labor in order to repair or replace water or sewer service lines and water or sewer mains. Makes water and sewer taps. Installs or repairs fire hydrants. Unstops sewer lines. Installs two-way clean-outs in sewer service lines. Takes water samples for bacteriological analysis. Sets up barricades when required to protect employees and the public. Performs routine maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment. Serves on standby crew for after hour emergency work as required. Performs other related work as required. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in working with the maintenance/construction of a water distribution or wastewater collection system preferred.  See full description at link above.
